The earliest version of the 23D. The distinction of early is: thin backboard, Gray transmitter mount, all cast iron (including bottom) with two terminals. The bonus is the coin reject with intact coin reject basket. Not many survived and the internal basket is indeed very rare. Most of the coin reject type 23 D's have the side slot.
